Thursday, March 19 – Rotarian Roundtable: Supporting RYLA Campers (6 MT / 7 CT / 8 ET via Zoom; will be recorded)

– Remind individual students you know to submit their applications

April

👉 Thursday, April 30 – Deadline for Clubs to finalize camper selections. Submit here.

– Conduct student interviews (optional).
– Select students and alternates.
– Communicate decisions with your applicants (and families!).
– Submit final camper names with the RYLA Team.

May

By the end of May, selected students will receive information from the RYLA Team.

– Follow up with families, encourage them to fill out their medical and liability forms!
– Assist families in finding a notary to notarize forms.
– Start thinking about transportation logistics

June

👉 Monday, June 15 – Deadline for submitting medical and liability forms via mail or secure dropbox.

– Ensure your campers have submitted their medical forms!
– Confirm transportation plans.

July

Wednesday, July 1 – Budget for RYLA 2027 and decide how many student’s you will be providing scholarships to.
Friday, July 10 – Our volunteer staff arrives to campus for pre-camp preparation and training.
Saturday, July 11 – The Thunder Bay and Nipigon cohort begins their adventure to camp.
👉 Sunday, July 12 – Rotarians and families help transport students to camp.
👉 Saturday, July 18 – Rotarians and families pick up students from camp.
